Armed with fiddle and guitar, these two Michigan songwriters have had long careers, both defying genre boundaries in their own respective bands (The Native Howl’s “Thrash Grass” and The Ragbirds’ edgy global folk-rock)
Alex & Erin’s voices curl together like smoky ribbons floating above a wild, elemental energy. In their live performances the duo seem to come more alive with each note, stoking a heat that threatens to burn the whole place down.
