The EMAS 2025 Annual General Meeting will be held to pass amendments to the EMAS Constitution and to vote for the EMAS Committee for 2026. The meeting will be held between 6pm and 8pm in the Webb Lecture Theatre (GGL [G21]), immediately followed by the presidential dinner (Location, TBC).---
*IMPORTANT NOTE*
Please email PROOF of your UWA Guild and EMAS memberships by sending a picture of your student card (both sides) to the RO email: [email protected] to be eligible for the night.

There will be 3 elections held, in which all UWA enrolled EMAS members can vote:
1. 2026 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION
The 2 positions being elected:
- President
- Vice President
2. 2026 EXECUTIVE ELECTION
The 6 positions being elected:
- Treasurer
- Secretary
- Events Director
- Marketing Director
- Music Director
- Welfare Director
3. 2026 COMMITTEE ELECTION
The positions being elected:
- 15 x Ordinary Committee members (OCMs)

ESSENTIAL INFORMATION FOR CANDIDATES
1. 2026 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION
- Presidential nominations are available only to members sitting on the 2025 EMAS Committee.
- To nominate for a presidential position, candidates must provide notification of their nomination (name, position) to the google document attached (https://forms.gle/uMu7fjAxDsmPa2S7A) and an optional 200-word comment in support of their nomination when prompted
- In their nomination, candidates may appoint a scrutineer to observe the conduct of the collection and counting of votes.
- Nominations will close at 11.59pm on 21st October 2025. Any nominations received after this time will not be considered.
- Presidential candidates will be afforded 3 minutes to speak in support of their application.
- Results will be announced immediately following the conduct of this election.
2. 2026 EXECUTIVE ELECTION
- Executive nominations are available only to members sitting on the 2025 EMAS Committee.
- To nominate for an executive position, candidates must provide notification of their nomination (name, position) to the google document attached (https://forms.gle/uMu7fjAxDsmPa2S7A) and an optional 150-word comment in support of their nomination when prompted
- In their nomination, candidates may appoint a scrutineer to observe the conduct of the collection and counting of votes.
- Nominations will close at 11.59pm on 21st October. Any nominations received after this time will not be considered.
- Executive candidates will be afforded 2 minutes to speak in support of their application.
- Results will be announced immediately following the conduct of this election.
3. 2026 COMMITTEE ELECTION
- To nominate for the position of ordinary committee member, candidates must provide notification of their nomination (name, position) to the google document attached (https://forms.gle/uMu7fjAxDsmPa2S7A)
- Nominations will close at 11.59pm on 21st October. Any nominations received after this time will not be considered.
- OCM candidates will be afforded 30 seconds to speak in support of their application.
- Results will be announced via the EMAS UWA Facebook Page at 12pm on the following day after the AGM.

VOTE TO BE CONDUCTED ON PROPOSED CONSTITUTION
In addition to the aforementioned elections, amendments to the EMAS constitution are to be proposed prior to the elections taking place.
