Hailing from Charlotte, classically trained violinist and songwriter Emanuel Wynter finds a way to sing, not only through rich and soulful vocals, but through his electrifying violin that, at times is reminiscent of electric guitar. Taking influence from artists such as Anthony Hamilton, Leon Bridges, and Gary Clark Jr., Emanuel’s sound is a unique, vibrant, and expressive blend of R&B and Rock .For January, Emanuel's Neo-soul series pays tribute to neo-soul leader D'Angelo, whose scattered releases, including the Grammy-winning Voodoo and Black Messiah, have upheld and advanced traditional R&B.
