A first for Elysium Cards and Games! We are hosting a one-day miniature painting competition on Saturday, May 11th! $20 pre-reg, $25 day of. This event is hard capped at 20 contestants, so make sure you register ASAP!
How it works:
Our one-day painting competition is a fun way to challenge yourself to painting a random miniature in 6 hours! All contestants will get the same miniature on sprue from Warhammer 40K. Then, contestants will start building and painting their model at 12pm, with a hard stop time of 6pm. Painters will need to bring their own supplies to build and paint their miniature with, but we of course will have supplies available to purchase for 15% off that day to everyone that participates! The model must stay in the building at all times (except when the model needs to be primed), so if you want to take a break at any point, you will need to leave your model with us! At 6pm, all contestants will turn their model in to our paint judge (a very experienced painting staff member), and they will declare their winners! All people that receive and award will get store credit as prizing!
This is our first time running something like this, so we are really excited for people to come give it a try!
