She performed with Sting during a concert offered to the cause of the pro-education social responsibility program in Mexico: Learning for Life as its ambassador; she collaborated with Pilar del Río, Lydia Cacho, Ofelia Medina, Lourdes Ambríz and Irene Azuela in the tribute to José Saramago "Voices of women in the work of Saramago" directed by Antonio Castro at the Palace of Fine Arts and at the National Center of Arts. Ely has also been the official interpreter of Mexican National Anthem during the closing ceremony of 2011 Pan American Games held at Akron Stadium in Guadalajara. She performed at Carnegie Hall and at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in a Tribute to Chavela Vargas, in company of Los Macorinos, Eugenia León and Tania Libertad. Ely was invited by UCLA University of California in Los Angeles, as Regents' Lecturer 2015-16 (Mexican Cultures through Literature, Films and Music) to hold a discussion with students about her music career journey. Moments before Covid-19 pandemic, Ely launched a new production: Zion. This album is her most recent unreleased record production; written, recorded and produced by Ely. Zion is music made only with her voice; she performs the live sessions with her friend, musician and producer Camilo Froideval, where both creative musicians explore an open field using analog and digital technology to re-create the backing vocals of allEly's voices. Zion's sound experience is enhanced by the vibrant visualwork ofMexican artist Gustavo García Villa, inspired by these voices. In 2022, Ely is celebrating 30 years of music and she does it On voice and guitar, where she once again invites Camilo Froideval, this time to go on an acoustic journey through her mostsymbolic songs. 30 years sharing music, 18 from independence.
