This event is for artists to sign up to exhibit their work. An event for the actual exhibition is to follow!
Are you a Wairarapa based artist?
Are you interested exhibiting in a family friendly Featherston based exhibition that starts with shared kai, creates communal art with patrons throughout the exhibit, and offers free stickers for the kids by one of our artists?
If you answered yes, keep reading for more details!
The exhibition is put on by Elsewhere Arts Collective (formally Red Feather Gallery) and will be held in Anzac Hall in Featherston.
It is free to exhibit with us and will be a free event for the community to attend. People of all ages, abilities and backgrounds are welcome to exhibit.
Artists and patrons are welcome to offer a Koha, all of which will go towards future exhibitions like this one.
All artists are responsible for hanging and selling their own work.
Sales are Cash and Carry
And we request that you do not remove unsold works prior to 3pm on the Sunday.
Key times:
Saturday 23rd May
1.30-5pm set up
5-5.30pm shared kai (for artists and the community)
5.30-8pm Opening Evening
Sunday 24th May
10am-3pm Open
3-4pm Clean up
We are running this event with limited equipment. We have plenty of tables and chairs available, however if you need to hang your work, you'll need to be able to provide for this yourself. Thankyou for your understanding.
