Elsa Morante - "Lies and Sorcery"

For our first post-summer meeting, we'll be reading Elsa Morante's epic novel Lies and Sorcery(https://www.nyrb.com/products/lies-and-sorcery?_pos=1&_sid=c6c45b83a&_ss=r). We're putting off the meeting until early October just to give people time to read it, since it clocks in at a hefty 800 pages. We will once again meet on a Saturday morning in the dining area/common space of Le District in the mall at Brookfield Place in Lower Manhattan. Looking forward to seeing you all there!
