Our upcoming event on November 28th, 2025 at Unison Banquet Hall located in Maplewood, MN will celebrate a “Poj Laib Era,” featuring the Mz. Poj Laib Pageant—a celebration dedicated to empowering Hmong women to embrace their individuality, break free from traditional gender role expectations, and feel confident in their own skin. Traditionally, the term “poj laib” has carried a stigma, often seen as shameful, rebellious, or scandalous. However, through this event, we want to reclaim and redefine the meaning of “poj laib.” To us, it represents being capable, free, and unapologetically yourself.
We invite and welcome everyone to join us in this movement of self-love, confidence, and body positivity—to celebrate women's beauty, strength, and authenticity in every form.
