After being with many of you online over the last year and a half (SIP & Song), I’m looking forward to sharing songs, stories and camaraderie in person! The Songwriter Showcase has been a highlight for me for years, so I’ll be stepping in with mainly original songs from my lifelong journey as a folksinger, from the LA coffee houses of the Sixties to the thriving music scene of Aspen in the Seventies, and onward through the years as a singer-songwriter committed to bringing people together with music. I’ve been inspired by John Denver—his music and life of service to making things better here on Earth—from the first time I met him in 1966. And my years of traveling and working with my dear friend Tom Crum confirmed for me the power of music and other arts, including aikido…seems like they’re needed more than ever now. I’m so grateful for this chance to sing for you! Hope to see you there.
