💜💛 OUR LEGACY LIVES HERE 💛💜
For more than 120 years, Ames Lodge No. 106 and Minnehaha Temple No. 129 have been more than a building—they have been a home for our community.
For many of us, this is where we grew up, celebrated milestones, built lifelong friendships, and learned the meaning of service.
It was where children practiced with the Drum Corps.
It was where families gathered for holiday celebrations.
It was where backpacks were given to students, toys were shared at Christmas, and neighbors came together for meals and fellowship.
Now it's time to tell our story.
As we prepare for ELKATHON 2026, we are creating a Legacy Wall to celebrate the people and memories that made Ames Lodge No. 106 and Minnehaha Temple No. 129 so special.
📸 We're looking for:
• Old photographs
• Event flyers
• Newspaper clippings
• Drum Corps pictures
• Fashion show photos
• BBQs
• Christmas celebrations
• Thanksgiving dinners
• Backpack giveaways
• Membership memorabilia
• Stories about family and friends
• Any memories you'd like to share
If you have original photos, we'll gladly scan them and return them to you. Copies and digital photos are also welcome.
