Let’s go to the falls!This one’s another long hike—definitely over 10 miles round trip and rated moderate overall.
Friendly leashed dogs welcome (park rule)
We’ll be doing a custom route that isn’t one of the official “AllTrails” loops, but all the trail segments are well-marked and can be found on the Staunton State Park map.
? Overview:
Start: Meadow Parking Lot 8:30AM Sharp
Out: Staunton Ranch → Scout Line → Marmot Passage → Chimney Rock → Elk Falls
Return: Elk Falls → Chimney Rock → Bugling Elk → Staunton Ranch
Cost: $10 for day pass or free with park pass
If there is interest afterwards we can head to Snowpack Taproom
