Come join us to celebrate the life of Elisa Curro. It will mark one year since her sudden passing & Dad and I would like to throw an event to acknowledge and honor her. She never wanted a funeral but instead a party. So that’s what she will have!!! Hoyt has a swimming pool so be sure to bring your suit. Everyone is responsible for their own entry to the pool if they choose to swim.
We will be located in picnic spot number two in the shaded area near the pool. There is a public playground as well.
We will provide more details as we come along them but we believe we want to keep this pot luck style as my mom was a huge foodie & loved to enjoy food with her favorite people. This choice is made simply because she would have loved nothing more than trying YOUR favorite dish. We will make a sign up link ? sometime this week for people to sign up for a dish of their choice is they choose! If not no worries we will also be providing food, water & soda. So if it’s out of budget or not for you to bring anything we don’t hold is against you.
We will have standard beers & drinks but if you want something certain we encourage you to BYOB. We will provide as much as possible to make this a real great time for her memory but encourage you to bring a cooler and stay a while.
We welcome EVERYONE to come as you are, when you want & for however long you like. My mom was notorious for welcoming every single person she met into her life with open arms & open door policy. I choose to live my life the same as she did because everyone deserve the love she had to give. Bring your kids, spouse etc & just come and talk about her.
This is informal. We don’t expect anyone to dress up, we don’t expect anyone to bring what they can’t & we don’t expect any speeches or cry sessions if we don’t want to. Elisa would have loved to throw a party like this and see everyone so just come as you are and share your favorite stories and memories with everyone she loved.
