Elis Lovrić Live at Maja Prentice Theatre

Acclaimed Croatian singer-songwriter and actress Elis Lovrić is an artist of rare and distinctive expression, whose work brings together music, theatre, and cultural heritage in a deeply moving live performance.

For more than two decades, Elis has created an original body of work rooted in the Labin dialect, transforming local tradition into a universal artistic language. Writing and performing in more than 15 languages and dialects, she builds bridges between cultures and brings her voice to audiences across Europe, Japan, and Brazil.

Her celebrated original projects include Kanat od mora, Merika, Two Seas, and A Story of Music and Stone. Elis Lovrić is also the first Croatian singer-songwriter to perform at the European Parliament in Brussels and Strasbourg, and she is the recipient of numerous national and international recognitions, including the EWILA – European Women’s International Leadership Award 2025.

In this special evening at Maja Prentice Theatre, audiences can expect an intimate and expressive performance shaped by music, atmosphere, and emotional depth. Elis Lovrić’s unique artistic voice invites listeners into a rich and memorable live experience.

The performance will be accompanied by Danijela Kos, cellist and PhD candidate at McGill University in Montreal.
