Swedish americana and folk duo Elin & Axel count any form of music as a source of inspiration. While North American banjo culture and old-time music served as the initial spark, the unorthodox song-writing makes it hard to confidently place them in any one traditional genre.
With a lot of experience working in bigger constellations and the complexity that comes with it, they’ve now come to appreciate the beauty in simplicity, with honest writing and a humble connection to nature and each other as musicians.
