Elgar at the Asylum

Over the past year, members of The Monday Night Club have been exploring the fascinating story of Edward Elgar’s early connection with the Worcester County Pauper and Lunatic Asylum at Powick. Working with creative producers C&T and our wonderful creative partners, we have brought together everything we have discovered through music, theatre, dance, film and performance.
The result is Elgar at the Asylum – an immersive promenade performance which will take audiences through different spaces at Malvern Theatres, with our members at the heart of the production.
