LOCnificent's annual pre-event panel discussion mixer returns for its third year under the theme ELEVATED — and this year, the conversation goes deeper.
One Crown, Many Stories is a candid, community-centered dialogue exploring the many ways Black hair is worn, defined, and experienced across the African diaspora. From locs to freeform to natural hair, from fashion to faith to heritage — we're creating space for the conversation that doesn't always get had: the labels we carry, the judgments we hold, and what it really means to make room for all of us under one crown.
This isn't about debate. It's about understanding. It's about seeing each other fully — across cultures, textures, traditions, and identities — and recognizing that our differences are part of the same story.
