Course Outline

This course will explore the unique advantages of Straumann® BLX in achieving optimal aesthetics and immediacy from single teeth to full arch procedures.

Learning Objectives

• Understand the unique BLX restorative platform for optimising gingival choreography for single and partially edentulous spaces
• Surgical considerations including appropriate drilling protocols for the management of insertion torque for immediacy
• How to predictably achieve aesthetic immediate anterior treatment outcomes
• ProArch step by step surgical techniques and full digital prosthetic workflows
• Understanding criteria for success and the restorative dentist’s role in optimising long terms outcomes and maintenance

Hands on

• Immediate single anterior placement in maxilla model
• Posterior bridge implant placement in maxilla model
• ProArch - Full arch BLX implant placement in mandible model with Screw Retained Abutments (SRA’s)

All course participants will keep the hands-on model as a valuable patient education tool to be used in their practice.

Dr. Alex Fibishenko BDSc

Dr Fibishenko is one of today’s most respected implant surgeons, innovators, and educators on the global stage. He developed numerous surgical techniques and systems to help improve and control the outcomes with full arch dental implants, collectively known as the All On 4 Plus® concept incorporating the world’s first Immediate Final Teeth™ using a fully digital workflow, which have received high acclaim and globally. Dr Fibishenko graduated from University of Melbourne in 1995 with accolades in Oral Surgery and Prosthodontics. Early in his career he pursued advanced training in oral implantology and reconstructive dente-alveolar surgery internationally with some of the pioneers and leaders in the field at the time. Having performed more than 15000 implant surgeries, Dr Fibishenko’s practice is uniquely exclusive to Oral Implantology and Dento- Facial Surgery. A key opinion leader, Dr Fibishenko is a frequently invited speaker at universities and conferences internationally on advanced surgical concepts, zygoma implants, tissue augmentation and full-arch digital workflow. Dr. Fibishenko is founder of All On 4 Plus® centres with 19 facilities throughout Australia, and regularly runs International Clinical Residencies for dentists and specialists at his purposebuilt training centre in Melbourne.
