About Michael Greenwald:
Michael Greenwald's journey began in the blue-collar Southside of Chicago, where he often felt alienated in the hypermasculine, close-minded culture, seeking solace in books and writing. Growing up amidst the grit and resilience of his surroundings, he developed a keen eye for the human condition and the myriad stories that unfolded around him daily.
Michael spent a decade working in all aspects of television production, most notably at "Jimmy Kimmel Live" and Black Entertainment Television. As a professional screenwriter, his notable projects are the television pilots "Wilderness," "The Remaining," and “Last At Bat.” They have garnered numerous awards for their compelling narratives and complex characters.Michael has a Bachelor's degree in marketing and English and an MFA in screenwriting and film studies. He resides in Scottsdale, Arizona, where he teaches at Arizona State University and Scottsdale School of Film+Theater and is a professional writing coach for writers of all skill levels. Despite the demands of his professional life, Michael's greatest joy comes from his family. He and his wife are the proud (exhausted) parents of two children under the age of two.
