This 2 day workshop is geared toward pre-professional & professional dancers who are looking to elevate their dance training.
About this Event

This workshop offers a variety of classes catered to help dancers gain knowledge of their individual bodies with classes like Pialtes, Contemporary, & Ballet while also helping to build personal confidence with classes like Hip Hop, Heels, and a Freestyle Session!

Pialtes: This class is a mix of strength and stability, combining excercises that will help dancers find their centers using breath and mind body connection. It can be used as a guided warm up before other classes.

Contemporary: A choreography based class where dancers will have the opportunity to use their technique and artistry in unison to create an experience of storytelling. Warm up and improvisation are included. Modifications and advancements will be offered to accomodate all levels.

F&F Session: F&F sessions are improvisational and freestyle based movement cyphers where dancers/movers of life are encouraged to forget judgement and flow with the authentic vibration of their soul. Sessions begin with a 10 minute guided body scan with crystal sound bowls. Participants are then given different prompts and excercises to explore their individual voices through movement. The only goal is pure mind/body/spirit connection. All dance shoes are welcome in the space.

Ballet for Commercial Dancers: This class is geared to help comercial dancers( i.e Heels, Hip Hop, & Frestyle dancers) grasp the concept of Ballet technique and how it can serve you in all other styles of dance. This is an open-level class, ALL ARE WELCOME!

Hip Hop: This class will help dancers explore different chracters through Hip Hop movement by usuing personality, fluidity, and confidence as the foundation. Dancers will gain tools that will serve them long term on their journey of dance.

Heels: This class will provide you with tools to help you last longer and perform confidently when dancing in heels. It consists of a foot conditioning warm up, across-the- floor patterns for coordination, and a short choreocombo to test your fundementals. This is an open-level class.
