Elephunk in the Wild is a one day outdoor festival taking outside at The Yard on Saturday 9th May.
Step into a full jungle escape, right in the middle of the city. This is where concrete softens, colour takes over, and the space transforms into something playful, immersive and alive from the moment you arrive.
Running from 14:00 - 23:00. Expect a seamless flow of live music, DJs and dancers moving through the space, alongside food and drinks and wild animal performers bringing the energy to life.
Musically, the festival is rooted in groove and global rhythm. You’ll hear a rich blend of funk, disco and soul, lifted by ska and brass, and carried through Latin funk, afrobeat and afro house. The kind of sound that builds slowly, then takes hold, warm, rhythmic and impossible not to move to.
Featuring ZONGA, Deya Collective, Moli, Soul31, Issie, Limbo Days (DJ set), Jadeaux (DJ set) and more.
Built with the Manchester community at its heart, Elephunk in the Wild is designed as a space for freedom, expression and connection. A majority women led team has brought the festival to life, shaping every detail of the experience.
From sunlit daytime moments to something a little more electric as the day unfolds.
