ELEPHANT HILL HIKE

It’s time to conquer the second highest peak of the Aberdares.

Elephant Hill is one of the most epic hiking routes scaling Aberdare Mountains. This is a 6-7 hour moderately-tough hike It stands at an altitude of 3658m asl.

Hike starts at the Njabini Forest Gate the trail takes you through a Bamboo Forest that will not just enchant you but test your patience. As you exit the forest you will find yourself at a Point of Despair.

Continue your quest through the transition from the rain forest to the moorland as you head towards the Elephant Peak Summit where a breathtaking view awaits you. This Monster of an Elephant though treacherous give you the most beautiful views of the Aberdares as never experienced before.
