Local maestro DJ Bruno is set to drop a rare jungle/dnb set at elements! Dubbed the godfather of house music in Boston, Bruno owned and operated the storied Biscuithead Records where he also began to amass a stealth library of dnb with which he's curated some of our fav sets. It's been years since he graced us with one and we're so ready! If you attended Bruno’s legendary NYE '25 party where we were luck to have an elements room, you already know what kind of vibe he's gonna bring! It’s no wonder City Councilor Tito Jackson declared a DJ Bruno Day (12/22).Opening set by New England fav DJ Steppo (Serrel Sweet Recordings | Good Deed DJS) and VIsualsssssssss is back on the screens. DJ Bruno has been a prominent figure in the Boston DJ scene since 1987, known for his diverse mix of Hip Hop, Reggae, RnB, and House Music. He gained popularity in the late 80s and early 90s at various clubs and later at the Loft with Armand Van Helden. In 1992, he launched the legendary Utopia Parties, featuring house music icons like Louie Vega and Kerri Chandler.
DJ Bruno opened Biscuithead Records in 1995 until 2001. He has held down residencies in dozens of clubs from Axis to the Loading Zone to Machine. He was named DJ of the Year by Boston Magazine and has received multiple accolades from Dig Boston. On 12/22/22 the date was declared ‘DJ Bruno Day’ by city councilor Tito Jackson. He has performed at events for Boston's Mayor’s office and DJed every Saturday in downtown crossing in the summer of 2022/23. You can also catch him turning City hall Plaza into a blissed out dancefloor every summer. DJ Bruno's philosophy is, "IF WE DANCE TOGETHER, WE CAN LIVE TOGETHER,"
