Campers will break down the Elements of Art composition by exploring each one with creative prompts in their art journal. Concepts include: shape, space, texture, form, color, line, and
value. Campers will also work with the Principles of Design including: contrast, balance, emphasis, proportion, hierarchy, repetition, rhythm, pattern, white space, movement, variety,
and unity. Campers will develop their understanding through exercises in their art journal and culminating in a large project that will be displayed in the Camp Gallery.
This is a summer day camp, no overnights. For campers age 11-14.
