At Elementary Summer Camp, children immerse themselves in nature with our study centering on botany, zoology, ornithology, and entomology. On our nine-acre campus, campers will collect and study specimens, learn the correct names and parts of objects found in nature, and engage in gardening, nature walks, and wildlife observation. Elementary children will also read books and discuss them, move their bodies, practice fine motor skills, practice social skills, play games, make art and music, cook, and explore their individual interests with the guidance of the teacher. Each Elementary Camp will have a weekly focus:
June 3 – 7: Ecology
June 10 – 14: Art
June 17 – 21: Soccer Shots
June 24 – 28: Nature Immersion
July 8 – 12: Soccer Shots
July 15 – 19: Sewing/Needlecraft
July 22 – 26: LEGO®
July 29 – August 2: Nature Immersion
*For rising 1st through 6th graders.
