Elementary/Middle Homeschool Days - Overwintering

As temperatures drop, we snuggle up in our heated homes under our blankets, or venture outside with a nice warm coat. How do plants and animals battle the cold temperatures without these luxuries? Join us as we discover the unique ways that organisms across the world and here at the Piedmont Environmental Center handle the cold.
Please note that this program will have parent-led and staff-led portions; parents must stay with children for the duration of the program. Participants should come prepared to be outside and on trails. Pre-registration is required.
