Electronics Lab Orientation (Members Only)

Welcome to the Electronics Lab Orientation!

Join us at the Make Nashville Electronics Lab! The goal of this orientation is to provide members a warm welcome to electronics lab and show what the space has to offer. We'll cover topics on electrical safety procedures and how to mitigate potential risk of electric shock and fire. Members will learn how to calibrate and use the lab microscope for soldering.

Also, we'll cover fume extraction & best practices.

This monthly orientation will be led by Electronics Lab Capatain Thomas Townsley.

Note: We strongly encourage taking an orientation on tools and safety procedures prior to using the lab, especially if you are new to electronics, but it isn’t a requirement for members.
