ELECTRIFY: Somatic Healing Retreat
About this Event
Join us for a summer afternoon at Asha’s Place to be held in community with folks who identify as BIPOC, Queer, or both. We’ll connect through the revitalizing practices of yoga, sound healing and intuitive movement.
We will hold a supportive space to be in our bodies to reflect on our experiences as queer people, people of color, and those who care for them – and how this impacts our capacity to move, heal and lead in the world.
We hope you will feel electrified and empowered rested and revitalized.
You’ll be guided by Dr. Suzan Ahmed (she/her), clinical psychologist, leadership coach and yoga teacher, Paloma Perez (she/her), embodiment & community facilitator, artist and yoga teacher, and Melissa Andrada (mel - they/them), keynote speaker, leadership coach and expressive arts healer.
We bring an interdisciplinary approach rooted in yoga, sound healing and the latest research in somatics, clinical psychology and art therapy.

This retreat centers folks who identify as BIPOC, Queer or both -- and welcomes those who care for us.
We will facilitate individual reflection prompts and small group discussion inspired by expressive arts therapy, gentle movement inspired by somatics and yoga, and sound healing inspired by expressive music therapy.
