Electric Miles brings us the music of jazz legend, trumpet player Miles Davis who passed 34 years ago.A deep reverence for Miles Davis’s electric music ignites the improvised adventures of this Vancouver sextet. Expect soaring riffs on compositions from Bitches Brew, On the Corner, In a Silent Way and more.
With John Korsrud trumpet, Bill Runge saxophone, Brad Turner keyboards, André Lachance bass, Ron Samworth guitar, and Bernie Arai drums.
This is going to be an intense and celebratory ride into Miles' music.
