Course Description: Dr. McGuire spent a career trying to ensure that students of all ages

understood the American founding and the theory behind American Government. In this

one-day-only session participants will learn the theory behind the operation of the Electoral

College a timely subject prior to any national election.

Facilitator:

Vincent McGuire Ph.D. has retired as a professor of Politics at the University

of Colorado in Boulder. Dr. McGuire moved to the Charleston area after teaching in

Boulder for more than 25 years.
