El Tesoro & Tres Generaciones Dinner and Tasting with Luis Navarro

Luis Navarro is flying in to LA to spend an evening with us and tell us about the latest releases from El Tesoro and Tres Generaciones!

You are cordially invited to join the Virtual Tasting Society for an evening you will not soon forget! Filled with delicious food, cocktails, and limited edition pours.

We are diving into tequila head first with an amazing dinner and tasting experience at the legendary Petty Cash Taqueria!

What you can expect for this evening:

We will get to enjoy at least 4 cocktails made just for our event by the talented bartenders at Petty Cash!

Food!

A four course meal from Chef Walter Manzke featuring some of the freshest ingredients.

Tequila!

Luis will walk us through the brands, pouring us many rare and limited expressions from both El Tesoro and Tres Generaciones

• Añejo
• Extra Añejo

• Republique Mundial
• and much much more

We're expecting at least 6 pours! (please plan accordingly!)

This will be a casual event with a fun atmosphere!

About Petty Cash:

Petty Cash’s menu features Chef Walter Manzke's interpretation of street food classics utilizing the best available local, seasonal and sustainable ingredients, rooted in multi-generational tradition and technique. Petty Cash sits on Beverly Blvd. beneath the (former Playa) rooftop garden stewarded by Chef John Sedlar and features urban elements such as hand-painted murals by local street artist RETNA as well as street-style graffiti art by some of Petty Cash’s kitchen staff, a back room with shuffleboard, and picnic style tables and bench seating which lend to a relaxed and playful communal dining room centered around an active bar.

A few words about El Tesoro:

THE HEART OF JALISCO

La Alteña distillery was created in 1937 by Don Felipe Camarena. He was a visionary man who saw the potential to make a great tequila, up here, in the mineral-rich highlands of Jalisco. Today, his grandson Carlos Camarena is our master distiller. Carlos still honors the traditional way Don Felipe made tequila over 80 years ago.

But most importantly, it is the care and dedication of the people at La Alteña that make El Tesoro really special. Our passion and community bond help us make a tequila that we are truly proud of.

MEET ONE OF OUR ARTISANS

Guillermo Zuñiga Meza is one of eight brothers who work at the La Alteña distillery. Members of his family, including his father, work in the fields and man the agave trucks.

Guillermo and his team work together to chop the agave piña hearts, load the ovens and maneuver our two-ton tahona stone. These are skills that Guillermo learned from his brothers. He particularly enjoys working the tahona to crush the agave fibers.
