El Tango de la Gente Milonga

It is with great pleasure that we welcome TDJ Paul Strudwick to our August Milonga. We're looking forward very much to his musical selections, and to our usual mix of socialising, friendship and Tango.
Doors open 7.15pm.
Some of you will know Paul Strudwick as a DJ from the famous and long-standing Magic Roundabout milongas. A professional sound engineer, Paul is also the talent behind the "Crackling Tunes" tango club, where for a monthly subscription you can receive a regular selection of high-quality digital tango transfers taken directly from original 78 rpm records. Paul's long and varied experience as a DJ and dancer and his extensive knowledge of the argentine tango repertoire enable him to choose tandas on the fly to suit any occasion. A great evening's dancing is assured!
If you have not been to our events before, you can expect a spacious and modern hall with social seating at one end and an excellent wooden dance floor. We use a good quality sound system with a speaker in each corner of the pista, because we want to be sure that dancers can always hear the music clearly.
Tea and water are provided and there will be a selection of cakes and nibbles. You are of course also very welcome to bring your own drinks and snacks.
The venue has its own large car park.
