El Moono are back with , The Charm, The First Man on Mars and Chains, the first singles from their highly anticipated debut album, The Waking Sun (releasing 10th May 2024), recorded at Middle Farm Studios. The band are further exploring their off-kilter and oftentimes mind-bending riff writing, emotive soundscapes and expressive lyricism to create a record that will further prove their “genre-phobic” reputation. 2022 saw the band’s release of the critically acclaimed EP ‘Temple Corrupted’ via Lockjaw Records and heavy touring around the UK & Europe (with the likes of Black Pearls, The St Pierre Snake Invasion, The Hyena K*ll and more) which cemented the band as favourites within the post-metal/post-hardcore scene. Exploring themes of human self-destruction and depression, the narrative is set to “seismic riffs of grunge with the atmospherics of post-rock” – Guitar World “Temple Corrupted is utterly incredible” – Kerrang! With unique influences of rock, hardcore, metal and grunge, the off-kilter and oftentimes mind-bending riffs, emotive songs and expressive lyricism combine to create a sound that’s difficult to pigeonhole. Although, fans of Thrice, Audioslave and Deftones will have plenty to sink their teeth into. El Moono are one of the most exciting up and coming bands who should not go unnoticed. https://www.elmoono.com/

The venue is only accessible via a flight of stairs however they can offer access via a back door at street level to the venue if mobility is an issue or you use a wheelchair. There are 3 large steps via this route so assistance to gain access and to exit the venue would be required. We can arrange this if you contact us in advance of a show. Please bear in mind that they can only allow access in between bands due to sound issues. Two disabled toilets upstairs, both gender neutral. If you require a carer at the venue, please contact us at [email protected] for guestlist, with evidence such as a blue badge or access card. If strobe lighting is an issue or if standing for long periods of time is an issue, please contact us in advance. They can provide chairs in the venue although if the event is very busy this will impede visibility. If you wish to make use of a chair to view a gig, we advise arriving early to secure a position. They are happy to accommodate assistance dogs.
