La Placita Social presents: EL GRAN BAILE
We’re bringing La Placita back, this time a little pop-up with an old-school Latin glamour vibe.
Inspired by the golden era of Latin social clubs, El Gran Baile is a late afternoon of live music, salsa, dancing, community, and surprise performances. Think vintage mambo nights, beautiful dresses, sharp suits, live rhythms, and a dance floor filled with people celebrating together.
Come dressed in your best Vintage Latin Glamour and get ready to dance the afternoon away. Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or just coming for the music, food, community, and vibes, everyone is welcome.
Live music, salsa and social dancing, Latin rhythms, surprise performances, food, drinks, culture, community, and lots of dancing.
Dancing for a cause
$1 from every purchase of one of our signature cocktails at the bar will be donated to **Project Paper Bag, confounded by you host Nathalia, Project Paper Bag is a nonprofit that has been serving the unhoused community on Skid Row for almost 12 years. Project Paper Bag brings volunteers together to prepare and distribute sandwiches, water, hygiene products, snacks, and care packages directly to those in need.
Come dance, celebrate our culture, connect with our community, and help us give back while doing it.
