El Barrio emerged from the encounter of German DJ Moreno and Saigon's very own, Swiss-born, DJ Ouch!. Having both lived in Madrid they launched El Barrio as a tribute to the Spanish capital's electronic music scene.We are excited to welcome MLiR alongside longtime partner in crime Vynni as our guests for our third edition at Luu Bar.

MLiR (Studio Barnhus / SE)
Marco Gegenheimer, one half of the acclaimed Swedish duo MLiR, brings an eclectic sound steeped in organic warmth and raw texture. Known for genre-defying sets and releases on labels like Studio Barnhus and Taf Kif, MLiR merges samples, live instruments, and field recordings to create rich, narrative soundscapes. Based now in Vietnam, Marco still shapes the European underground scene, curating Madrid’s “Calamari Rolls Royce” parties. With a 2024 debut album Pulpo Fiction, plus upcoming releases on Multi Culti and Studio Barnhus, MLiR’s universe continues to expand, unfettered by genre boundaries.

VYNNI (The Observatory / VN)
The Saigon-based resident DJ of The Observatory is behind many famous parties in town, taking Saigon\'s underground scene by storm with her unique goofy and banging, yet delicate sound. Levyn is not afraid to venture unchartered territories, driving her audience into unexpected places with mixed feelings as she blends liquid emotions into multi-versed musical sets. With Vynni’s sets expect the odd, the sparkly, the quirky and the severe alongside smooth kisses and kicks.

DJ OUCH! (Miniclic Records / CH)
DJ Ouch! from Neuchâtel, Switzerland, began his career playing drum and bass in the late 90s. After moving to Madrid in 2000, he delved into deep house and techno, exploring record shops. Returning to Switzerland in 2001, he studied at SAE Geneva, started producing music, and founded the Swiss drum and bass crew Insane Drumsounds. He collaborated with the Urban Sound label and held residencies in various bars and clubs. Relocating to Saigon in 2012, he co-founded HRBR (Harbour Saigon) in 2016 and launched El Barrio in 2017.
