Το Elektrokohle (Von wegen) είναι μια ταινία που ακολουθεί τους ανθρώπους που βρέθηκαν σε αυτή την συναυλία τότε και τους συναντά 20 χρόνια μετά. Το Elektrokohle (Von wegen) είναι μια ταινία για μια πόλη. Για αυτή τη μια πόλη. Μια ταινία για μια ολόκληρη εποχή. Ο σκηνοθέτης Uli M Schueppel, βρίσκεται μόνιμα πλέον στην Αθήνα και το Lung Fanzine δεν έχασε την ευκαιρία παραμονές των live της μπάντας στην χώρα μας να του ζητήσει να (ξανά) παρουσιάσει στο Αθηναικό κοινό αυτήν του την ταινία, για μια μπάντα που έμοιαζε με εμπρηστικό μηχανισμό, σε μια εποχή που ολόκληρος ο κόσμος έμοιαζε να χωρίζεται στα δυο ακριβώς σε εκείνο το σημείο. Ο Schueppel θα μιλήσει για την ταινία στο κοινό αλλά θα παρουσιάσει και έξτρα μπόνους υλικό με πλάνα που δεν συμπεριλήφθηκαν στην ταινία.

Elektrokohle (Von wegen) (2009) is a film about Einsturzende Neubauten’s first concert in East Berlin back in 1989, shortly after the wall that divided the city in two fell. Elektrokohle (Von wegen) is a film that follows the people who were at that concert back then and reunites with them 20 years later. Elektrokohle (Von wegen) is a film about a city. About this one city. A film about an entire era. Director Uli M. Schueppel now lives permanently in Athens, and Lung Fanzine didn’t miss the opportunity, on the eve of the band’s live shows in our country, to ask him to (once again) present this film to the Athenian audience—a film about a band that seemed like an incendiary device, at a time when the whole world seemed to be splitting right down the middle. Schueppel will discuss the film with the audience and will also present bonus footage that was not included in the film.
