About this Event
Enjoy a double feature at Blake Planetarium!
In Einstein's Gravity Playlist we join Lucia, a PhD student in physics, on an exploration of how gravitational waves are formed, how they move through the universe, and how scientists like her work to hear them.
Using immersive visualisations and real images, The Hot and Energetic Universe examines the achievements of the most modern forms of astronomy: advanced terrestrial and orbital observatories; the basic principles of electromagnetic radiation; and the natural phenomena related to the High Energy Astrophysics.
- All ages are welcome
- Parking is always free
- Food and drink are not allowed in the planetarium
- We do not issue refunds at any time
TICKETS ARE SOLD ONLINE ONLY. NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE DOOR.
Please note that we are a ticketless venue. When you buy your ticket online, you are immediately added to our attendee list so there is no need to print your ticket or present an e-ticket. You can just check-in on show night with your name and smile at the door.
If you have questions about the event, please email Alison Riordan (Science Curriculum Coordinator, Plymouth Public Schools) at [email protected].
