EILEEN BARNETT “You Must Believe in Spring (In October)"

Eileen began her theatrical career in Chicago, her home town. She worked all through her high school years in professional theatre companies. After college, she went to New York and got her first job in Stephen Sondheim’s COMPANY. From there she appeared off-Broadway in a Kurt Weill Revue and toured in several productions of JAQUES BREL IS ALIVE AND WELL AND LIVING IN PARIS.

Hollywood was a logical next step, where she became a contract player on DAYS OF OUR LIVES as a resident villain. She continued to do numerous guest-starring roles on television including BLACKISH, MAD MEN, KNOTS LANDING, ER, and THE GILMORE GIRLS.

She returned to New York to star in Tommy Tune’s Tony Award winning musical, NINE playing opposite Sergio Franchi.

Eileen has performed her cabaret act on both coasts. She has two recordings—EILEEN BARNETT, LIVE AT THE CINEGRILL and a children’s CD, BROADWAY WITH A BEAT.

Her theatrical career continues to this day in Los Angeles and in regional theatres across the country. She is also very active with the prestigious Musical Theatre Guild in Los Angeles, both on stage and behind the scenes.

She lives in LA with her husband, actor Bruce French, and their 3 dogs.
