Eid with Elected Officials

RISE's annual Eid with Electeds dinner is a space for Muslim women to come together and forge new connections with the incredible people who represent them.

This event allows us to subvert gendered Islamophobia by creating a safe space to build understanding and celebrate our community's wins and hopes for a just future. When we celebrate alongside our elected officials, we are reminding them that they are a part of our community, and that values-based relationships will drive the best policy.
