EHOD Portview Trade Centre, the Former Strand Spinning Mill

Portview Trade Centre as it is now known, the former Strand Spinning Mill was once pivotal in the linen industry for Northern Ireland. Ran by the Mackie family until its closure in the early 1980's, Portview is now home to some of Belfast’s most creative and innovative businesses. Portview Trade Centre will open its doors for guided tours of the building, come explore the vast former production spaces that remain untouched and hear about the Mill in its hey day and beyond.

Visitors will also be introduced to an exciting neighbourhood tourism project and hear Portview’s exciting plans for redeveloping and reuse of this fantastic heritage asset.
