This highly specialized tour , covers the entire downstairs Egyptian section in the British Museum followed by a short refreshment break .The tour continues in the upstairs Egyptian section exploring the hidden meaning and symbolism in the collection of Mummies , sarcophagi , magical amulets , papyri and textiles .
Finally the tour is completed in the Enlightenment gallery linking the Renaissance period to the ancient Egyptian culture, through to our modern times.
Each tour lasts 5 hours, including a 30 minutes refreshment tea break , which includes a continuing dialogue with questions and answers with members of the group .
