Egg-Revolution: Crafting Activism Beyond Traditions

Join us for an evening of creativity, activism, and cultural exploration at Egg-Revolution: Crafting Activism Beyond Traditions, an event organised by POMOC and an amazing Ukrainian artist Maryna Bileka (IG: @ave__marina)

Discover a new way to celebrate Easter, while learning an Eastern European egg-painting tradition and standing in solidarity with causes close to our hearts.

We welcome Eastern Europeans, including Ukrainians, Polish, Slovakian, and anyone in Merseyside who is interested in folk culture, arts, and crafts.

Through this Masterclass, you will:

1. Gain inspiration for your creative practice
2. Learn new skills in an Eastern European tradition
3. Explore egg painting as a form of cultural resistance
4. Express solidarity with Ukrainian resistance, free Palestine, trans rights and other issues you're passionate about

Vegetarian refreshments, as well as tea, coffee and soft drinks, will be served.

To cover the cost of materials and venue rental, event entry is £7 per person. We have 20 spaces available.
