Come to learn the traditional wax resistant method of egg decorating. Darla will be teaching the “40 Triangles” / “40 Days of Lent” design.
Instances of the number “40” occur very often in the Bible; some Bible scholars postulate that this is because “40” was used as a sort of shorthand for “very many,” which is quite appropriate in this usage as well.
It’s not so much a design or pattern as a division of the egg. The individual triangles are then decorated to create thousands of different designs and combinations.
