AuB is the fearless, sax-lead, brainchild of two of the most in demand UK musicians, Tom Barford and Alex Hitchcock.AuB refers to the meeting and unity of two musical minds and instrumental styles melded into one group sound. The twin tenor tradition has a long history, but with AuB its the collaborative process and blending of ideas that drive their group sound.Their first album featuring James Maddren and Ferg Ireland came out on the Edition Records label in 2020 to critical acclaim.
