Explanation:
-After a 2-yr. Covid break, the City is again planing a festival, but they moved it FROM the traditional location of Ford Field TO at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center (former Civic Center location).
However, after asking questions by phone and email to the City, and carefully examining details as they developed & changed, and waiting for more responses, it seemed our Classmate Gathering, as we have developed it, would not fit in as well at the City's new location.
So, we are trying something different this year. We are NOT meeting at the same location as the City's Homecoming.
(We apologize for any confusion.
It is something we will try this year and see how it goes.)
We only plan to meet until 3 pm, so there is plenty of time to head on over to the City's festival if you like!
