About this Event

Looking for innovative ways to energize your classroom? During educator workshops at the Carter, view masterworks of American art, learn from local artists and museum educators, and take resources, images, and new ideas back to your classroom.

Examine the long legacy of the Civil War and the struggle for civil rights with a tour of . Participants will learn strategies for helping students use art as a lens to look at the past and a creative tool to shape the future. Educators will receive classroom resources and two CPE hours.

American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation may be provided during this event upon advance request.
