The BMA’s first annual Educator Summer Camp is a two-day event designed to inspire teachers as they prepare for the school year ahead. Camp will take place from 10am to 2pm on Friday, July 17 and Saturday, July 18.
There are multiple sessions to choose from on both days, with tentpole topics including:
Ways to support or introduce art as advocacy with students
Grant opportunities available to educators for school-wide initiatives (such as mural making)
Integrating math, science, and reading concepts into art curriculum
Introducing artists featured in the BMA’s collection for inspiration in lesson plan/activity development
Fostering your own creativity as a busy educator (hello, open making time!)
Breakfast and light snacks will be provided on both days.
