Beauty, bravery, courage, pride, and determination. Just a few words that quickly come to mind when you think of this nation’s symbol, the bald eagle.
The Pennsylvania Game Commission Southcentral Region will be hosting an educational presentation on bald eagles with State Game Warden Amy Nabozny, and @Department of Conservation and Natural Resources Educational Specialist Jennifer Moore.
The presentation will take place on Saturday, May 11, at 10 a.m. at the Southcentral Regional Office in Huntingdon and it is free to the public to attend.
Amy and Jennifer will discuss the historical fall and rise of bald eagles in Pennsylvania and what threats face eagles today. You can also learn more about breeding habits, nesting selection, survival rates and current populations in our state.
There will also be an opportunity to view an active eagle nest immediately following the presentation!
If you have any additional questions, please reach out to the Southcentral Office at 1-888-PGC-WILD.
