Every three months we take a trip back To The Moon.
This venue is where it all started for us back in 2022 and our last outing there was particularly special when we had Distant Planet in attendance.
We definitely hit capacity.
It would be very hard to rival the previous night we had here but we continue to create unique line ups that strengthen the Jungle/Drum & Bass community in Bristol.
To The Moon are known to host an open deck event every last Sunday of the month under the name 'Liquid Lunar'.
The Event is styled towards the more chilled side of Drum & Bass with access to both Digital and Vinyl set ups.
Check out the event page for the next one on Sunday 28th May 2023 and follow their instruction for information on how to get involved.

Line Up:
19:00 - 20:30: Altitude vs Interlude
(Jake Om, ELL & DJ Luvah)
We start our night with some fresh faces at To The Moon but you may have recognised these names across flyers as you have stumbled up Stokes Croft and surrounding areas.
We have met these three individuals over a period of time and have been nothing short of impressed. Their determination, skill and knowledge of the music they play is admirable to say the least.
Both Jake Om and ELL are part of a promotion who strive to curate a community vibe around their events; just like we have tried to do in the last six months.
We have asked them to team up with local legend DJ Luvah who joined us at The Bell at our social event on May 4th 2023.
If you want to be inspired by the younger generation of DJ. Look no further.

20:30 - 22:00: Education Sessions
(Resident line up to stay unannounced)
If you have come to our previous nights at To The Moon you already know that the main focus of the evening is about the records we play and that we are extremely lucky to have such a talented roster at our disposal.
We have lots in the pipeline and we really enjoyed going back to back all night with Distant Planet at our previous event so we decided to add an element of mystery to our line up.
Sometimes being spontaneous creates the best creative environment and we look forward to bridging the gap between two other great back to backs provided by some of Bristol’s finest.

22:00 - 00:00: Optimystic, Fourjacks and Friends.
(Optimystic, Boca & No Nation)
We close our journey To The Moon by paying homage to those who were already active within Bristol’s music scene before we came to fruition.
We have Optimystic who has been running events at the Red Lion and we believe he has done over 30+ events that give a platform to local talent all free entry.
Join his Facebook group here:

He has great stage presence and knows exactly what the crowd needs, we believe that him Boca and No Nation will be a whole different vibe.
He recently had a release on Reinforced which you can check out in the link below:

The next artist needs no introduction. No Nation is a firm favourite around Bristol due to his jovial character and ability to project positivity into his track selection.
No Nation is not afraid to try different things during his set and this adds a tale of the unexpected to his performance. You won’t be standing still when he is in control.
Check out his latest mix from HÖR London Takeover in April.

Last but not least we have Boca who will add some real authenticity to our evening, he runs a record label called Fourjacks and you will find their releases and merchandise on sale at everyones favourite Record Store; Collector Cave.
He was called up to the latest Distant Planet line up in Bristol and stole the show early on.
Boca also promotes a night call Exstatic which have hosted some very respectable artists over the last few years.
Expect a deep level of understanding and a selection that will keep all three artists on their toes as they all try to play their favourite tracks and impress those in attendance.
