Through this Stages and End of Life discussion, we will explain the different staging tools used to determine an individual's dementia progression and answer some of the most common, yet challenging questions that come up for those supporting a loved one through the process. What does staging mean? How can I be supportive during the different stages? What does end of life look like for someone with dementia? And how can I best support my loved one through this process?
Valorie Lucio is the Memory Care Director at the Castlewood Senior Living. She has a passion for caring for those with dementia and serving others. She began working at Castlewood in November of 2022. Prior to that, she worked as a licensed psychiatric technician for 16 years in California.
