What does person-centered care mean, and why should I consider it for my loved one? We will not only answer those questions, but for you, as a caregiver, we will cover how to start the process, how to cultivate good working relationships with healthcare providers, and how to best use this information in your daily life. For your loved one with dementia, we will also talk about how to introduce this type of care comfortably into their life and routine.

Chrishaunda McCoy is the Memory Care Director at The Burlington Creek Senior Living. She is a Certified Dementia Practitioner and Certified Medication Technician with experience working in a memory care unit as Resident Care Director. Chrishaunda started advocating for individuals in 2007. Since February 2023, she has been honored to educate team members and family members about the importance of quality of life for those living with dementia.
